PNOZ m C0 – Modular Safety Relays

Some versions of the PNOZmulti 2 may support Pilz’s proprietary SafetyBUS p, a safety network protocol. SafetyBUS p enables the connection of multiple safety devices and facilitates communication between them, enhancing the overall safety of the system.

With the connectivity options mentioned earlier, users can remotely monitor the status of the safety system, receive alerts for any faults or alarms, and even perform troubleshooting procedures from a central location.

Pilz may provide dedicated software for visualizing the safety-related data and diagnostics of the PNOZmulti 2 controller. This software allows users to monitor the safety system in real-time, view diagnostic information, configure parameters, and generate reports.

The PNOZmulti 2 may offer various connectivity options such as Ethernet, USB, or serial connections, allowing for communication with other devices such as PCs, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels, or PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). This connectivity enables remote monitoring, programming, and diagnostics.

The controller often comes equipped with diagnostic LEDs that provide visual indications of the controller’s status and any occurring faults. These LEDs typically display information such as power status, operational status, and fault codes.
